USC Latino Alumni Association Receives Irvine Foundation Grant


California: The USC Latino Alumni Association is going to receive grants from the James Irvine Foundation. This scholarshi will be used to provide scholarships to Latino students attending the leadership program. Since its beginning in 1973, the LAA has granted some $15 million in cumulative support (including university matching funds) to 8,000 students.

Grants Provider: James Irvine Foundation

Grants Amount: $200,000

$150,000 will be allocated to scholarship funding, with the first $100,000 eligible for university matching funds provided by the USC Office of Financial Aid. The remaining $50,000 supports the leadership development program.
